About Me:
I’m a UK-qualified nurse with a background in Intensive and Coronary Care, having completed my training at Worcester Royal NHS Hospital. Over the years, I’ve worked in several major NHS hospitals, gaining extensive clinical experience and developing a strong foundation in acute care.
After relocating with my family to Knighton, on the English/Welsh border, I became a Practice Nurse at the local GP surgery. During this time, I furthered my expertise by gaining additional qualifications, with a focus on Diabetes Management and Coronary Health. More recently, I’ve also worked with The Bracken Trust—a charity supporting individuals affected by cancer, their families, and the bereaved—providing care in a compassionate, holistic setting.
My journey into complementary health therapy began after sustaining a triathlon injury that conventional treatments couldn’t resolve. I was introduced to the Bowen Technique and was genuinely amazed at how such a gentle, non-invasive treatment could bring such effective relief. Intrigued and inspired, I decided to study the Bowen Technique professionally—and haven’t looked back since.
I qualified as a Bowen Therapist through the European College of Bowen Studies in 2005, and have since completed a variety of advanced and specialist training courses to deepen my expertise. In 2009, I also qualified as an Emmett Practitioner—an additional gentle therapy that targets specific "trigger" points on the body to relieve pain and restore balance. When appropriate, I integrate both techniques to provide a tailored, holistic approach for each individual.
What I love most about my work is helping people—young and old—feel better in their bodies, improve mobility, and regain quality of life. I regularly treat a wide range of conditions including sports injuries, asthma, arthritis, and mobility challenges. Many of my clients have struggled for years without effective treatment, often unaware that help is available.
It’s a real privilege to do what I do, and I’m passionate about continuing to make a positive difference in the lives of those I work with.
